Platform · security

Built for confidentiality, without over-claiming

Interpreting and field-service agencies handle sensitive assignment details. TenLink and Ten99 are designed around tenant isolation, encrypted connections, and minimal exposure — not marketing badges we have not earned yet.

Encrypted in transit

Web and API traffic uses HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). Firebase Firestore and Storage clients connect over TLS — required for production and for App Store–distributed apps that sync assignment data.

Encrypted at rest

Operational data (student/service profiles, schedules, credentials) lives in Google Cloud Firestore and Storage, encrypted at rest with AES-256 by default. Sensitive onboarding fields (SSN last-4, ID photos) use agency-scoped paths and server-mediated access — not public URLs.

Separate tenants

Agency jobs and client AR live under your agency. Contractor appointments, job files, and invoices live in each contractor’s Ten99 account — not a shared CRM dump.

Contact privacy on jobs

Shared job and dispatch views use masked contact labels. Raw phone numbers are not the default on documents peers see (Secure Handshake).

You control the packet

Job file notes and attachments are what your coordinators put in the work packet. Private contractor notes on Ten99 are never synced from the agency side.

When clients ask for more

  • HIPAA-oriented programsWhen a client requires PHI handling, we pursue vendor BAAs, access controls, and retention policies — not a landing-page checkbox before the work is done. TenConnect start-of-call can select HIPAA mode to apply healthcare retention and recording defaults. Live video uses Daily with Healthcare add-on + BAA when PHI is on the call.
  • FERPA / school VOD programsEducation sessions use FERPA mode: recording off unless the district enables it, shorter caption retention, student-masked logs, no parent-portal transcript dump, DPA-oriented vendor posture. Not a FERPA certification claim.
  • Video layer (Daily)Realtime media runs on Daily — SOC 2 Type II, GDPR posture, HIPAA via Healthcare add-on + BAA, published uptime targeting 99.99%. That covers the room; TenLink still owns dispatch, logs, and agency data.
  • SOC 2 and enterprise reviewDaily’s SOC 2 helps video RFPs. TenLink’s own Type II remains on the roadmap when buyers require the application vendor’s attestation — not required to run dispatch with your roster on Ten99 today.

We would rather under-promise and ship real controls than display compliance logos we cannot substantiate.

On the roadmap

  • Early-access onboarding
  • Pre-release pricing and launch deals
  • Customisation options for agency workflows
  • Migration support for teams moving from legacy AMS tools, spreadsheets, and inbox chaos
